If you missed your usual dose of Movers & Shakers last month you’re in for a treat, because this week we’re bringing you a special two-month edition, covering all the job changes that fell on our plate throughout August and September.

We have possibly – nay probably – missed a few, so why not make this interactive and mention any fresh colleagues, departed comrades or promotions in the comments below…

Tech

September saw Ogilvy New York’s former global affiliate marketing senior partner, Ewan Darby, appointed as general manager of EMEA at Accelerize’s digital marketing software division, CAKE.

Meanwhile, marketing tech group RadiumOne announced a quadruple addition to the c-suite. Chief financial officer Anna Baird took the lofty promotion to president – retaining her former role and title – while Dimitri Vaynblat, previously SVP of data, optimisation and product strategy, got the bump up to chief technology and data officer.

The final two for RadiumOne came with Mike Werner’s promotion to EVP of North American sales and Dave Zinman’s transition from chief product officer to chief operating officer.

Search

SEO leader Searchmetrics took on a new CEO in the form of Volker Smid, following a two-and-half-year stint by Tom Schuster, who now holds the title of SVP field services at mobile retail platform NewStore. Volker joins to drive international growth, boasting senior management experience at HP and Novell.

Two former Googlers have joined the ranks of digital marketing tech company Turn, with former director of brand development Richard Robinson taking the renewed position of managing director of EMEA. Joining from the Yahoo-owned BrightRoll, new CEO Bruce Falck also sports an eight-year history at the search giant.

Ad tech titan AppNexus couldn’t resist either, hiring long-time Google exec Doina Harris as EMEA vice president of its Advertiser Technology Group (ATG), while SAP veteran Michele Weber joins as vice president and head of AppNexus’s ATG global marketing.

Mobile

Over in the world of devices, mobile ad company YOC appointed Mark Wright as UK managing director, where he brings expertise in programmatic, having left the helm at Drawbridge UK.

Mobile advertising platform Fyber announced an expanding management team with the appointment of Henrik Basten – former co-founder of Fyber-acquired Falk Realtime – to chief technology officer, while Jim Schinella joins as chief business officer.

Agency

Performance Horizon, a global leader in digital partner marketing, inducted Steve Walske onto its board of directors as chairman, to share over 25 years of experience leading, advising, and investing in innovative technology companies.

Content specialist Hill+Knowlton Strategies announced a new CEO and president of its US operations, onboarding Beth Balsam to bring nearly three decades of industry experience.

Video

A senior data science leader at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission joined Realeyes, an emotion analytics platform that measures how people feel and react when they watch video content. Jeff Ryan joins Realeyes as chief data scientist and will report to CPO Martin Salo.

And finally, video ad platform Videology promoted SVP of global media Jana Eisenstein to oversee the company’s European operations as managing director EMEA.
