European digital marketing agency JVWEB has netted a €1 million fund from the Public Investment Bank (BPI).
Based in Montpellier, France with a focus on search and display, JVWEB revealed that it will use the cash to hire ten new employees, launch new products and develop the agency internationally.
The new staff members will include seven account managers and a sales representative. JVWEB’s sales team additions will be joined by a new trainer and an engineer.
The trainer will likely be working in the new specialised training department which will be organising training sessions throughout France, with the first date in the calendar for November in Montpellier.
RTB and EvoTravel
On the product side of things, with investment totalling €250,000, JVWEB is about to take the wraps off of a new service that aims to help marketers purchase display ad placements in an auction using real-time bidding.
A foray into RTB is not the only new product on the horizon as JVWEB is also launching EvoTravel, a tool for online tour operators that helps broadcast their product database to partners.
In 2014 JVWEB managed turnover of €5.5 million, 50% of which came from international clients. It currently employs a total of 35 staff.
