Retargeting platform Adroll has announced plans to create a new office in London, its second European location.

Following the opening of its Dublin office last year, Adroll has revealed its intentions to launch a base of operations in London. The company is said to be looking at options in the Soho area.

Adroll has a head count of 100 in Dublin, but over the next year it hopes to grow staff numbers to 250 in both its Irish and London offices off the back of a 251% rise in UK customers.

Senior Google hire

Michael Bertaut, a former Google country manager for Italy is the first hire for the new office. He will be responsible for touting Adroll’s cross-device, cross-platform, advertising solutions to brands and agencies across the EMEA region.

Although there are already a fair amount of options for advertisers in the display advertising space, Bertaut feels there is still room for more especially in London.

“Having worked closely with digital agencies and direct clients at Google, there is a huge need in Europe for more innovative, transparent digital advertising solutions,” Bertaut said.

“By investing in London’s vibrant technology scene we’re opening our doors to major media agencies and brands who want to access powerful retargeting technologies.”
