Having tied down new customers such as BMW and Paypal, international digital marketing agency group SYZYGY has reported solid figures for the first six months of 2014.

SYZYGY Group, an umbrella for SYZYGY, uniquedigital, Hi-ReS! and Ars Thanea, continued the growth it exhibited in Q1 2014 by boasting a 33% increase in revenue to €22.6 million for the first half of the year.

Operating income surged 53% to €2 million for H1 2014, which will have been partly down to AVIS choosing to spend its North American online media budget with SYZYGY.

Global client campaigns

There was also an expansion of an activities from existing client Mazda, which utilised SYZYGY for campaigns across Australia, Japan, South-Africa among other markets; a strategy that chief operating officer Andy Stevens wants to see from other customers.

“Digital marketing is now acknowledged by brands as a key platform for engaging effectively with fans and customers, and we will continue to exploit this trend to maintain our fantastic financial performance,” he said.

“With the opening of our North American office in New York last week, we are fully committed to driving international business growth and serving our clients across multiple markets.”

Forecasts for full-year 2014 have been raised after SYZYGY’s H1 performance. The group has earmarked sales growth of 20% to €42 million and a 75% rise in operating income to €3.5 million.
