Investors have seen the potential in semantic data by writing contextual analysis company ADmantX a $2.4 million cheque.

Demand for audience targeting is increasing and this new bundle of cash aims to help ADmantX position itself to take advantage by ensuring its global footprint and product line is future proofed for potential growth.

Nick Welch has been recruited to nurture the firm’s European operations. He slots into the UK business development director position after his work at the likes of Orange, InMobi and SpotXchange caught the eye of ADmantX CEO Giovanni Strocchi.

“Nick will assume an important role in expanding ADmantX’s market presence in Europe, reinforcing our leadership in contextual targeting by leveraging his wealth of programmatic experience following 15+ years in the digital media sector,” Strocchi said.

ADmantX will also be broadening the availability of its products in new markets through integration with programmatic platforms such as Adform, Turn, AppNexus and DMP ecosystems.
