Berlin-based mobile advertising firm Yoc has agreed to sell Belboon, its affiliate marketing network, to Arcus Capital in Munich.
While both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchasing price, a statement revealed that Yoc will see a positive effect on the net income in its financial statement to the tune of €3.2 million.
Yoc has decided to focus on its core mobile display business, with the company’s CEO Dirk Kraus stating that the money from the sale of Belboon will be put towards a real-time bidding product.
“We [will] focus on our core business – mobile advertising – and particularly the further development of technologies for data-based, automated real-time advertising,” Kraus said.
“The sale proceeds will directly flow into the development of our new products for programmatic mobile advertising.”
Founded in 1994, Arcus is a holding company that specialises in medium-sized business in German-speaking countries and also counts outdoor advertiser sellmedia group in its portfolio of assets.
