Search agency SEOptimise, has undergone a company-wide revamp in order to encapsulate more than just search engine optimisation, but also social media, PPC, link building and web analytics.

The official line for changing the agency’s name to White.net may have been to shrug off the SEO tag, but it has the added benefit of acknowledging white hat SEO, the search-based techniques that do not stray from the rules laid out by the internet’s policy makers.

During the last 12 months, White.net has not only been recognised by Deloitte for being the fastest growing internet company in the UK, but has also added a raft of new clients including insurance provider, More Th>n.

Changing Face of SEO

Managing director of White.net, Stuart Tofts, took the decision to rebrand based on what he felt was a changing search landscape where SEO was unrecognisable from the marketing channel it once was.

“We wanted a brand name that didn’t limit us to one rapidly changing discipline, and also one that reflects our core values of openness, honesty and original thinking,” Tofts explained.

White.net is now well into its seventh year of creating search marketing campaigns that incorporate other methods of digital marketing to boost return on investment. It is recognised as an approved company by the Recommended Agency Register.
