Global performance marketing business, Matomy Media Group, has today announced the beta launch of its new media buying, tracking and analytics tool for mobile performance campaigns.

Mobit is designed to provide end-to-end mobile media buying, campaign tracking, reporting and analysis for affiliates, media buyers and advertisers.

The new venture aims to offer publishers ‘smarter and faster’ tracking and analysis of mobile advertising campaigns and is fully integrated within Matomy Market; the company’s affiliate marketing network. It can also be used to manage mobile advertising campaigns from other cost-per-acquisition (CPA) networks.

Matomy’s senior vice president of mobile advertising, Erez Gross, who is based at the company’s Tel Aviv headquarters, said the product had been in testing/development for more than a year.

“It was our media buyers who brought up the need for this type of unique tool. They wanted improved technology to drive better results – and that is what we have created,” Gross said.

“Mobit offers affiliates, advertisers and media buyers a comprehensive solution for enhancing their mobile media buying campaign margins and profits through exceptional tracking, reporting and insights.”

In-house Technology Utilised

Affiliates who use Mobit will have the ability to accurately track, measure and analyse their campaigns and gain enhanced access to Matomy’s network of more than 5,000 active campaigns; from global advertisers.

As the technology was developed in-house, Gross said this is a huge benefit as it means the company can be very quick at adding new features and making further improvements.

“This however is not the end game. We are committed to further evolving and developing this over time. Mobile is Matomy’s biggest growing segment in 2013 and we have the best mobile team who are constantly working on driving more and more developments,” Gross added.

In terms of key benefits, some of Mobit’s features include end-to-end campaign tracking and reporting, pre-set and customisable templates with any ad network for quick campaign set-up, automatic data collections, real-time conversion tracking, real-time post-back conversion reporting, and mobile web and app campaigns.

It also includes full mobile reporting metrics, from carrier and operating system to device and more.

Varying Algorithms

When asked about his personal favourite feature, mobile guru Gross, said it was the ‘unique’ Mobit Insights feature. This is an auto-suggest optimisation tool which allows the user to create the best combinations for driving ROI, using various algorithms.

The Matomy Media Group, which serves 40 billion impressions per month for 500 advertisers across 7,000 publishers in 85 countries, has had a busy year so far with its launch of MediaWhiz Mobile back in March and its recent acquisition of MobAff.

Following its beta launch, Mobit will be available for a 45-day free trial for qualifying publishers and media buyers.
