For the benefit of those that may not have already heard of you, who is Murad UK?

Murad UK is the UK arm of the huge Californian skincare company, based in LA. It was founded back in 1989 by Dr Murad who is a pharmacist, dermatologist and Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UCLA.

We have 12 ranges which treat every imaginable skin concern which includes anti-ageing ranges, a range for redness, eczema and sensitivity as well as an anti-cellulite bodycare range to name but a few.

Can you give us a brief overview of the Murad UK affiliate programme?

We try to provide the publishers on our programme with all the tools they need; this includes a selection of banners, promo codes for free gifts and a generous commission structure of 15%.

However, we’re always open to options and input from our publishers and are open to running exclusive commission increases for increased coverage and can provide bespoke copy and images if necessary.

What are some developments that Murad UK has seen this year that puts you ahead of your competitors?

We are constantly launching new products – in January we launched the Time Release Retinol Concentrate for Deep Wrinkles which features a precision tip to apply the powerful anti-ageing retinol exactly where it’s required. It’s proven to reduce the appearance of deep wrinkles by 45% in just six weeks.

Are there any exciting developments coming up for Murad UK in 2013?

We’re always working on new product launches which we promote through our affiliate programme; these happen several times a year and there’s lots of exciting plans for 2013.

As well as products we’re always trying to build our affiliate programme and provide more creative, banners and data feeds to help our publishers as much as possible.

What advice would you give to new affiliates that have recently joined your programme?

Our ranges are for all skin types and ages, so whether your customers are teenagers with blemishes and combination skin, or in their 30s with fine lines and wrinkles and concerns about cellulite, or in their 60s with menopausal skin which needs firming, and age spots which need fading, then we have something for everyone!

The affiliates that fare best on the programme are those that tailor their banners to a wider audience, using the full range of Murad products.
