Quantcast Announces European Venture & 100 New Jobs

Following ‘remarkable growth’ for US digital advertising company Quantcast, the company has decided to open up new operations in Dublin as it focuses on its growing European business.

Quantcast, which specialises in audience measurement and real-time advertising, will create 100 jobs over two years at its new Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operations center in Ireland.

The expansion aims to bring the company closer to many of its customers and support the growth and expansion of its advertising business throughout Europe.

Easy Access to European Markets

Quantcast founder and CEO Konrad Feldman, said the business selected Dublin as its new EMEA hub due to the city’s concentration of world-leading technology and digital media companies, its local talent pool, and easy accessibility to Europe’s major markets.

“A combination of our clients’ desires to expand their advertising campaigns to more counties, and the tremendous new business opportunity afforded in Europe and beyond, guided this move,” Feldman said.

Feldman said the online advertising and measurement company has experienced ‘remarkable growth’ and the company is excited to expand within Europe and offer its services more broadly to its current client set, local European advertisers and media sellers.

Expanding Client Base

The EMEA operations centre will provide support throughout Europe, to clients such as SendGrid, who rely on Quantcast to expand their client base via online advertising.

Vice president of marketing at SendGrid, Robert Phillips, said: "Quantcast’s investment in a European operations center shows a clear commitment to serving their global customers and we’re excited to partner further with them in Europe and beyond.”

Within two years Quantcast, which also has offices in San Francisco, New York and London, hopes to hire more than 100 people at the new base.
