InMobi has announced the departure of its VP and MD EMEA and Global Business Operations, Rob Jonas. The company’s VP Global Sales and co-founder, Abhay Singhal is taking on MD EMEA responsibilities effective immediately.

Ofcom-accredited comparison site,, has appointed Tobin Ireland as the new Chairman of its board. He comes with experience of chairing an affiliate business after holding the same position at Vouchercloud.

Andrew Buckman is now Tradedoubler’s Chief Operating Officer after being Vice President at online payments company, Klarna. He’s not new to performance marketing, though. Buckman has held positions at Webloyalty France, Criteo and Yahoo Search Marketing.

Cake Marketing moves to Europe

Cake Marketing’s taken a step into Europe by opening an office in London. New Managing Director of the UK, Paul Wright, has been given the task of making the move a success. He has prior involvement at Tradedoubler, but his most recent position was at Tropic Digital as Company Director. Senior Affiliate Marketing Executive, Katy Armitage, has moved to brick and mortar retailer, Marks and Spencer. Before she held a number of positions at Digital Window over the course of three years.

Doug Scott, an affiliate marketing veteran, has added another string to his already burgeoning bow. Scott has become an advisor and investor of local banner exchange service, Xpand Local. He’s best known for founding

Mediacom loses Paid Search head

Melanie Mack called time on her stint as Mediacom’s Head of Paid Search and Affiliates back in October. Last month she became interim Group Acquisition Manager for Abercrombie & Kent, a company that specialises in luxury and tailor-made travel.

Data feed supplier, GoldenFeeds, has lost its UK Sales Director. Darren Newmark has switched his employment allegiance to SaleCycle where he’ll be heading up the company’s Business Development for the EMEA region.

TBG Digital's old Chief Operating Officer, Kate Lavender has taken a sideways step to Struq where she'll hold the same position. Lavender seemed excited about working at the ad technology company. "I am thrilled to be joining Struq’s talented management team in January," she said. "Struq’s personalisation platform is unrivalled in terms of functionality and performance."
