A4u has rolled out an updated version of its Performance Marketing Guide for 2013. The PDF document details everything you could possibly want to know if you’re looking for a grounding in the sector.
The new edition comes nearly a year and half after the inaugural Performance Marketing Guide 2011 saw the light of day. Since then, there have been a numerous new developments in the space, all of which have been discussed in the document.
A4u Content Director, Chris Johnson, spoke of a growing thirst for performance marketing knowledge. The longing for knowledge by digital marketers was reflected in the volume of downloads that last year’s Performance Marketing Guide received.
“Over 9,000 downloads of the 2011 Performance Marketing Guide have been recorded by A4u in the 18 months since the launch of the inaugural report,” he said. “It just goes to show there is a demand to be educated in the fundamentals of performance marketing and a desire to understand its intricacies.”
Emergence of mobile
Mobile, a big discussion point for networks, has been overhauled this year to incorporate a broader remit. The E-Privacy Directive has also caused a bit of a stir, which is why the guide is featuring a section on best practice and regulation.
Contributors had a big part to play in the editorial direction of the Performance Marketing Guide 2013. There were even more companies discussing their expertise this year including the likes of the IAB, Coull, Vouchercloud and Ve Interactive.
