iV Platform’s Voucher Solution Bypasses Networks and Agencies


iV Platform is a discount marketing system aimed at all parts of the voucher and deals funnel. It’s capable of being rolled out as a technology solution for local businesses, brands, media, deal sites and affiliates.

Small and large local businesses can use iV Platform to take complete control of vouchers. They’re able to create deals and publish them on affiliate sites. There’s also a mechanism for for lead generation, allowing merchants to build a marketing database.

Brands have the option to create their own deal channel without the need to go through third-party deal or voucher properties. Databases can be built using existing data and then combining it with all that’s likely to be collected as part of the discounts.

Publishers can access 1000s of deals

Affiliates and deal sites can benefit from the deals and vouchers that brands are developing using iV Platform’s iV Network. Publishers are given access to what the company describes as 1000s of deals. There’s also an API available to track sales and profit.

The software, which has been in development since 2009, has the potential to take networks and agencies out of the loop. Brands and merchants may no longer need to rely on third-parties to distribute or track any deals they’re looking to publish.

Josephine Boyd, Commercial Director at iV Platform, emphasised the solutions advantages. “It presents clear commercial benefits to retailers, brands and merchants that want to take more control of engaging customers cost effectively through mobile to rewards loyalty and incentive sales.”

UPDATE iV Platform contacted A4u to clarify its product. The company said the following: "For clarity our solution is designed to either work with out affiliate networks or to be a tool for affiliate networks, so we are not trying to cut the networks out of the picture, but offer them a solution that manages specifically voucher distribution through affiliate channels and act as an efficient and simple creation, distribution and tracking tool for voucher content."
