Movers and shakers: September 2012

Another busy month for human resource departments across the spectrum of performance marketing. Kicking things off is current CEO of Maxus Italy, Federico de Nardis. He’ll surely be pleased about his move up a rung to CEO of Maxus in the regions of Europe, Middle East and Africa.

TagMan has again been active in recruitment throughout September. Former ComScore Executive Vice President, Wolf Allisat, has been brought in as Global Chief Revenue Officer. He’ll be responsible for the company’s expansion strategy in key global markets across all channels.

The tag management company has also announced Rob Brien as the new Senior Vice President of Global Marketing. Previously Convertem’s Vice President of Marketing & Sales, Brien will now be driving TagMan’s brand awareness, demand generation and product marketing.

TomTom appoints new marketing head

TomTom has appointed Gary Raucher as Senior Vice President of Marketing. He’ll be taking on all consumer-related marketing and communication activities globally. Raucher comes from Philips where he was Vice President and Head of Brand and Communications in its Consumer Lifestyle division

Struq has managed to pinch long-time ValueClick servant, Hannah Luckie. She has switched her B2B Marketing Manager position for the similarly titled role of Marketing Manager at the global ad personalisation company’s London office.

Fashion specialist, 7thingsmedia, has taken on two new hires. Samantha Hart has been brought in as Search & Business Director and Reena Rai has left Phase Eight to become Client Services Director at the Performance Marketing Award-winning agency.

TBG Digital relinquishes Head of Social

Ex-Giraffe keeper and keen cocktail thrower, Jeremy Waite, has leapt from TBG Digital, where he held the Head of Social Strategy position, to Adobe in role not too dissimilar to what he’s used to. He’ll now be Head of Social Strategy for the computer software company’s EMEA region.

There have been internal promotions aplenty during September too. Mindshare’s Richard Lane has moved up from Affiliate Account Director to Affiliate Business Director. Stacey Alexander has been promoted to Head of Performance at Arena Media UK from Account Development Director.

Keith Horwood continued his rapid ascendancy through the ranks of Found. He started as SEO Manager just two years ago and then became Senior Social SEO Manager at the search and PPC agency. In September he notched up another promotion and is now Head of SEO.
