Quidco ups payment speed for members

Quidco has announced that over two million members will start to see speedier payments after they’ve purchased goods or services through the website. The cashback company says several new agreements with retailers and affiliate networks have made the new, faster service possible.

Over 120 retailers will be supporting the new rapid remuneration of Quidco members. Debenhams customers will likely see a tripling of payment speed and Next online shoppers will benefit from rewards being returned to them three and a half times faster than before.

Network involvement

Some of the UK’s largest affiliate networks had input into the deal. According to Quidco including the likes of Digital Window, Affilinet, Webgains and Tradedoubler are all on board. They were accompanied by brands such as Marks & Spencer, Vodafone, Boots and B&Q.; Consumers can now distinguish faster-paying retailers using new filtering options on the cashback site.

News of the rapid payments comes hot on the heels of a refreshed mobile app from Quidco. The company is clearly doing its best to innovate in what’s quite a crowded sector. Quidco said the faster payments came as a result of consumer and client research, which it then developed into a solution to approach networks with.

Andreas Andreou, Sales Director at Quidco, discussed how the deal was evidence of his company’s close ties with its partners. “Our news is testament to the on-going work between ourselves, retailers and networks that enables us to offer the best user experience for our members and merchants,” he concluded.
