Coull integrates vouchers in its videos


Video performance network, Coull, has announced a deal with in the UK and in the US. Its association with the two discount websites will give publishers the option to embed voucher codes and deals on YouTube movies, effectively offering another avenue for generating revenue.

Publishers will be able to use Coull’s platform to select a relevant deal from or and place it on their video. The publisher then generates revenue by receiving a commission each time the voucher displayed in their video is used.

Irfon Watkins, Coull CEO, spoke of how videos are now an important part of the sales funnel for many shoppers. “Consumers are smart about online shopping and want to get the best offer possible, and they are also increasingly turning to video as part of their pre-purchase research,” he explained.

Empowering the video-viewing consumer

Large numbers of people currently view product reviews, how-to guides or tips and tricks videos. Coull envisages its new feature addition to be of great benefit to the movie-viewing consumer. It will help them save money and find a convenient purchasing method for items mentioned in the footage they’re watching. research has shown UK voucher is up by 40% over the last two years, a trend General Manager, Simon Bird, is excited about exploiting in the new Coull partnership. “To work with Coull in offering deals through video content is not only a great piece of innovation for the performance marketing industry, but another channel for consumers to get a great deal,” he said.
