R.O.EYE nabs TMN Group MD


R.O.EYE has announced the appointment of Gavin Male as the company’s new Managing Director. Male will start in September and has extensive MD experience prior to R.O.EYE thanks to a stint in charge of AffiliateFuture and tmnmedia.

Male is said to be moving to R.O.EYE because of the potential the company has for making an impact on the UK and European performance marketing sector. R.O.EYE will be hoping his experience of building, managing and growing digital marketing businesses in the UK will be of great benefit.

Further expansion predicted

R.O.EYE seems confident it will be able to build on a period of expansion it experienced during 2011 when it opened offices in London and Berlin. The company says the growth will come from affiliate management, but it also intends to introduce a new range of service offerings in other areas of performance marketing.

Founder of R.O.EYE, Mark Kuhillow, boasted about how Male’s experience was a great complement to the performance marketing company’s European ambition. “As R.O.EYE is now offering pan-European solutions and is aggressively developing in this sector, Gavin is well placed to drive our corporate objectives whilst still focusing on our industry-leading position as corporate Affiliate Management specialists,” he said.

Agencies' increasing importance

TMN Group has had Male working across its various divisions for the last ten years. He was promoted up through the ranks until June 2012 when he became MD and as such was responsible for all divisions. Male also spent time assisting with the integration and day-to-day management of AffiliateFuture.

Male spoke to A4u of the agency’s rising importance having a substantial bearing on his decision to respond to R.O.EYE’s advances. “The agency area is something I see a lot of growth in so when I received the call that they'd like to meet it was an opportunity I was very keen to explore,” he divulged.
