With offices in the UK, Germany, Spain, France and the Netherlands, affilinet's performance marketing solutions have seen a significant increas in the first nine months of 2011, increasing their sales by 20.7%, from €51.8 million for the same period in 2010 to €62.5 million.
The number of partner programmes running through the affilinet network across Europe has increased from 2,158 (Q1/Q2/Q3 2010) to 2,388 for the same period in 2011, an increase of 10.7%
There was also an increase in the number of affiliates / publishers coming on board, with numbers increasing from areound 490,000 to 520,000 (+6.9%) for the same period in 2010.
Focus Areas For affilinet
In the first nine months of 2011 the focus was on the expansion of the marketplace and also the implementation of new products around retargeting and voucher marketing, plus the addition of basket tracking which offers the advertiser extensive detailed information on the buying behaviour of consumers and thus a more targeted management of the range.
Growth was extended across online retail, in particular the areas of fashion, finance, travel and mobile which are making good progress.
Following an externally-supported pproject at the end of 2010 a strategy was created for the next few years across the affilinet network, allowing for investment in the following areas:
- Automation of Sales Processes
- Improvement of User-Friendliness of the Platform
- Sector-Specific Functions
- Development of Data-Mining Capabilities
The implementation of the various projects is said to be largely completed by the end of 2011.
