Prezola.com, the new universal gift wish list service, launches this Thursday, 15th September, following a year in development.
Prezola brings together over 250,000 items from 257 of the UK’s favourite retailers in a single online destination. Affiliate advertisers include High Street brands such as M&S;, John Lewis, Argos and Selfridges alongside online retailers such as Amazon, Notonthehighstreet and FeelUnique.
The site encourages users to create a gift wish list for any occasion; Christmas, Birthdays, Weddings and new baby arrivals being key markets. Users create a wish list by selecting from their favourite brands and retailers, then share their list with friends and family through Facebook, Twitter, email or any other social network. Friends follow the link to view the list and guarantee to buy gifts they know will be a success.
Prezola.com launches in time for the Christmas 2011 gift buying season backed by a major advertising campaign targeting busy mums, kids and teenagers. Mumsnet, Facebook and Google Content Network are all key elements of the launch advertising campaign alongside a heavyweight PR campaign targeting the Women’s lifestyle and fashion press.
The business is the brainchild of husband and wife team, Ali and Dom Beaven. Dom is the former Publishing Director of Future PLC’s technology portfolio where he oversaw brands such as T3 and TechRadar.com before going on to develop social media strategy for Comic Relief and FIFA’s 2010 world cup legacy campaign.
Prezola.com goes live on Thursday 15th September, but the beta site can now be viewed at dev.prezola.com.
