ValueClick expands into Eastern Europe


In a market prominent in Electronics, IT and Travel, ValueClick are continuing their expansion strategy by being the first global online marketing company to be represented in the Czech Republich, Hungary and Slovakia, thanks to a cooperation agreement with the Czech online marketing agency VIV networks.

Engineered by ValueClick Europe’s Munich office, the deal will initially focus on affiliate marketing with ValueClick’s global affiliate marketing unit, Commission Junction, so that VIV Networks can offer Commission Junction’s potential affiliate marketing customers local consultancy, expertise and ground support relating to the Eastern European online marketplace.

Vladan Hejnic, CEO of VIV NETworks said: “The Eastern European market is eagerly awaiting the arrival of one of the largest and most influential affiliate networks and we are happy to become the operator of Commission Junction’s Public Network in our region. Being able to offer the services of such a long-lasting and successful market leader to clients is of exceptional value to us.”

In the Czech Republic alone, eCommerce revenue is around €1 Billion Euros per year, which is currently increasing by 20% year on year. This offers interesting potential to ValueClick who will be the first Affiliate Network operating in the area where the CPO model is not currently very well known.
