SEO Manager – ENTERPRISE International SALES, Inc.

Enterprise International is a fully-owned Brighton-based subsidiary of Enterprise Holdings Inc, the world’s largest car rental provider with $16.4bn in 2013 revenue. A privately-owned company with the world’s largest fleet of over 1.4m vehicles worldwide and 78,000 employees, Enterprise Holdings owns and operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental brands.

Main purpose of the role:

You will work with our agency partners to formulate and execute the natural search marketing strategy for Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental throughout EMEA. You will generate a significant volume of transactions through a portfolio of international websites at an acceptable ROI by targeting European consumers traveling to and renting a car in North America. Strong analytical skills, excellent customer service and communication abilities, project management capabilities, and integrated marketing experience are all essential attributes. Successful candidates will have excellent knowledge of customer acquisition and conversion techniques. This position is heavily direct-response and ROI focused and all activity instigated should support this strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:

Ensure that performance of SEO is maximised to drive profitable growth throughout the full portfolio of international Alamo and National websites
Working with our outsourced agency partners, you will develop, plan and execute innovative and effective on-site content and off-site link-building strategies
Formulation and management of SEO expense budgets and revenue plans with regular reporting of performance to senior management
Review of agency commercials to extract maximum value
Coordinate with other teams within marketing, such as Brand, Product, and Social to provide integrated marketing support for brand initiatives
Understand the dynamics of individual source market countries together with effective analysis of key competitors in the natural search arena
Ensure all Alamo and National digital assets are fully optimised for SEO
Ensure that local search and maps strategies are fully optimised for the multi-device world
Develop and manage the content creation and distribution strategy
Ensure the social media and PR programmes are being fully leveraged for SEO to accelerate growth
Ad hoc special projects and other tasks deemed appropriate by line manager

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or other applicable field. Professional marketing qualification preferred (IDM/CIM)
4+ years of experience in managing natural search marketing campaigns with proven success
Sound knowledge of other online customer acquisition channels, preferably PPC
Retail, travel, or automotive experience considered a plus
International marketing experience and foreign languages considered a plus
Excellent analytical and forecasting ability. Used to managing and reporting to strict ROI targets
Commercially astute with solid budget management experience
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with good interpersonal skills and initiative
Excellent MS Office skills are a necessity

Daily liaison with the sales and commercial teams in the UK and Germany
Frequent dialogue with colleagues in the USA including MarCom and IT
