The Role



As a hugely capable digital professional, you play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining our SEO offerings. As Head of SEO you are required to deliver sophisticated strategies, get your hands dirty on campaigns and build a team around yourself as well as co-ordinating with our internal teams to provide the best services and results for clients.


You are responsible for pioneering SEO within the agency as a high-performing and accountable channel.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities



{C}{C}{C}·         {C}{C}All aspects of SEO management including, but not limited to, keyword research, link building, on-site reviews, link building, content creation, link building and reporting. Did I mention links?

{C}{C}{C}·         {C}{C}Working alongside the sales and account management teams to devise search strategies for clients Managing the company’s own SEO plans and positioning

{C}{C}{C}·         {C}{C}Building and managing a team of search marketers, leading and motivating them

{C}{C}{C}·         {C}{C}Profitably managing search marketing activities, with responsibility for implementing and reporting on all campaigns whilst maximising the results of agreed strategies

{C}{C}{C}·         {C}{C}Improving the company's visibility through the blog, website and social networks

{C}{C}{C}·         {C}{C}Providing sales support to the business development team including client specific strategies for risk managed link growth (There’s them there links again!)

{C}{C}{C}·         {C}{C}Identifying the best technologies to enhance our services, and to help position us as a leading player in the space

{C}{C}{C}·         {C}{C}Seeking out and embracing fresh and innovative ideas to meet client requirements and to continue to position ourselves as a leading digital performance agency

You demonstrate:



  • The ability to demonstrate and provide examples of successful SEO campaigns and strategies within competitive markets
  • 5+ years of commercial SEO experience
  • Agency or client side background
  • Team management experience
  • An effective communication manner and a fluid and enthusiastic presentation style
  • Strong analytical skills
