Are you a motivated Digital Account Manager who wants to join an entrepreneurial Bristol based agency?  We are looking for someone that is keen to play a key role in the growth of the company and as such wants to fast track your career. If this is you then you should keep reading…

Does your knack for top-level communication mean you always get to the heart of a client’s needs? And does your talent for exceptional project management mean you always deliver, above and beyond expectations. If yes, then this could be a very good fit for you.

So who are we…

Zuru Group is a highly respected, customer acquisition agency with a focus on measurable results, based in the middle of Clifton Village, Bristol.

We provide a true performance based, new customer acquisition solution for brands across a number of core verticals – Financial Services, Health and Well-Being, Education and Gaming. We operate across multiple territories including the UK, US and Europe.

It’s safe to say that we are pretty good at it too. Our management team are not only veterans of the media world, they were also some of the first people to launch a pure performance based agency back in 2009. They have over 50 years of experience in the advertising and marketing sector and have worked with some of the biggest and coolest brands around including – PepsiCo, Logitech G, NVIDIA, Vodafone, Apple, BMW/Mini and Vitality to name a few.

We’re proud to be an independent, dynamic and friendly company that really takes care of its staff, offering exciting challenges and room to thrive, with plenty of entertainment and laughter while you do it.

So what will you be doing…

Working within the account management team and with a number of clients across some of our key verticals. You’ll be supporting the Account Director in developing client relationships and campaign set-up, delivery and ongoing optimisation as well as assisting with reporting and client strategy.

You’ll be managing the day-to-day operational aspects of your accounts, coordinating with multiple teams, and of course, ensuring continual client satisfaction.

You’ll be busy with a whole host of activities that include (but are certainly not limited to) the development and delivery of online social marketing projects, branding, digital campaigns and optimisation systems.

It’ll be fast-paced with tight deadlines, but you’ll be working with a fantastic and supportive team, and your role will be hugely varied.

Below are just some of the tasks your typical day will be filled with:

  • Always understanding the client’s objectives, business and market, and working with them to deliver creative but commercial solutions.
  • Briefing and coordinating with our creative, development and media teams to ensure successful delivery of campaigns on time and inline with performance KPI’s.
  • Creating detailed and accurate campaign reports, performance estimates, timing plans and other campaign documentation, as required.
  • Following our quality and operational processes.
  • Providing insightful recommendations to both client and internal delivery teams in order to drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll be needing…

You’ll likely be a passionate all-rounder who can roll up their sleeves and get stuck in, and just as importantly, you’ll be keen to have fun while doing it. Once we’ve had our morning coffee we’re a very friendly lot, so we want a professional yet affable person on our team.

Must-have:

  • A proven track record of working in a digital marketing/agency environment or affiliate network.
  • A solid understanding of the social and biddable media landscape.
  • Demonstrable campaign experience across a host of channels, including social, content, display advertising and native.
  • Planning, optimisation, budgeting, presenting, reporting and data analysis.
  • A hands-on and positive approach to problem solving; identifying issues and using your initiative and available resources to generate ideas and solutions.
  • Brilliant personal time management and prioritisation skills in order to deliver projects on time.
  • A talent for written and verbal communication – you’re a dab hand at building rapport with clients and managing their needs and expectations.
  • A knack for researching and analysing new marketing strategies and audiences.
  • Ability to follow quality and operational processes.

Must-be…

  • A real team player, contributing to best practice and sharing knowledge, resources and ideas, but comfortable working alone when required.
  • An excellent people manager – both internally and externally.
  • Practical and level-headed with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and to react quickly when needed.
  • A critical thinker with an eagle eye when it comes to detail and error spotting – regular proof checking is required of campaign assets and reporting.
  • Marketing savvy, particularly concerning all things digital.
  • Hungry to progress and develop.
  • Positive and enthusiastic.
  • Hardworking and flexible with a willingness to work outside ‘normal’ hours when required. (This isn’t a regular thing, never fear, but it can happen every so often.)
  • Prepared to travel to clients’ offices once or twice a month, and possibly further.

What we will be giving you…

  • A competitive salary, dependent on skills and experience.
  • Company bonus scheme
  • 21 days holiday, increasing to 25 – plus bank holidays.
  • Training and development opportunities.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Frequent social events – when life gets back to normal.
  • As much tea and coffee and as many biscuits as a human can handle.
  • An all-round wonderful place to work, in the great city of Bristol, with lovely people who are passionate about what they do and have fun doing it!
