British retailer Debenhams has joined forces with CJ Affiliate, signing on to an exclusive programme with the network to run its affiliate activity in the UK and Ireland.

The multi-national department store currently trades out of over 240 physical stores, and online across 27 countries, boasting one of the most visited websites globally and delivering purchases to 66 countries around the world.

In partnering with CJ, Debenhams is now looking to both bolster and diversify its digital presence across a range of sites and devices according to the retailer’s e-commerce marketing manager, Pia Sharma, as well as honing the performance of its affiliate campaigns.

“Debenhams had four key objectives in securing a new affiliate partner network: reporting efficiencies and account management; being able to leverage a network’s expertise in long tail growth; innovative implementation of platform data; and an omnichannel presence,” said Sharma.

Continued track record

Commenting on the announcement, CJ Affiliate’s regional VP, Anne Delhon, called the high-profile partnership “testament” to the network’s track record, and “continued commitment to creating relevant and bespoke solutions” in meeting its clients’ strategic objectives.

“We look forward to promoting Debenhams’ while offering our hard-earned industry expertise, prowess in insight and data, and of course access to our high-quality publisher network,” added Delhon.

Powered by Conversant, CJ utilises over 160 million unique customer profiles, offering advertisers and publishers granular and actionable insight its consumer data to drive sales and expand their reach. Publishers can now join the Debenham’s affiliate UK Programme or IE Programme.
