In less than two days Black Friday will descend upon the retail market, boosting the global economy to the tune of billions in what’s expected to be the biggest day for sales this year. 

To satisfy the cravings for data, Affiliate Window will be stepping up its coverage and analysis of the event with the launch of the host of a live data feed that will capture hourly updates from over 2,000 e-commerce sites that pack into its UK affiliate network.

Combined with reporting from the company’s Twitter and Facebook accounts, the live edge means publishers, agencies and advertisers alike will not have to wait beyond November 25 to see how things shape up on what’s expected to be a huge day for business.

Affiliate Window has been at the forefront of affiliate-based analysis of Black Friday since the event’s big break into the UK. 

Annual traditions for the network include the examination of key trends after the dust has settled, while contributions from its in-house team of experts have already seen the delivery of predictions ahead of what is now the biggest day in the UK retail calendar.

Analysts expect around £1.3 billion to be spent both in-store and online during Black Friday - up from £1.1 billion last year - and Affiliate Window’s operations director Anjulie Truong is looking forward to mapping out how and when some of this money is spent.
