A first batch of speakers has been announced by Performance Marketing Insights: Europe ahead of the event’s return to Amsterdam in July.

A series of high-profile names will be on hand to shape the agenda, designed to help attendees gain a picture of modern-day performance marketing and its various facets.

Representatives from Searchmetrics, xAd, Ecselis and affilinet have all seen their appearances confirmed on the PMI site, which also lists details regarding the event’s new angle and ticket options.

A guide to PM in 2016

Among those to be named as part of the first speaker drop are Suzie Rafla, head of performance at the Havas-owned Ecselis, and Imran Khan of xAd – the latter kicking off a session on targeting local audiences with a programmatic approach.

Automation and real-time bidding are key points of focus at this year’s PMI: Europe, with a number of sessions making their way onto the tracks for affiliate & lead generation and biddable media.

On hand to give further advice on data-driven advertising will be Gary Arnold, solution strategy director at Occam, Jed Mole of Acxiom and Tradedoubler’s James Milne

Both Mole and Milne will be presenting on the Debate & Discuss track: a new feature for 2016 which encourages audience participation on a range of contentious and thought-provoking topics.

These include the retaliation to ad blockers, affiliates receiving 0% commission for existing purchases as well as a series of problem areas, such as building an attribution model and merging first and third-party data for use with performance marketing.

Coming up

Other subjects of focus at PMI: Europe include the merging of channels, the future of performance mainstays like affiliate marketing and the affect both combined have had on media agencies.

The result is a festival of performance-based advertising offering actionable advice for attendees to take back into the field.

A second wave of speakers is set to land in the coming weeks, along with the event’s keynote speaker.
