A host of companies with direct ties to performance marketing have been named in the 50 fastest-growing technology groups in the UK.

Now in its 18th year, Deloitte’s Fast 50 grades companies on their revenue growth over a period of four years, and there are plenty of results-driven marketing firms on the list for 2015.

The highest placed is travel site Secret Escapes at 3rd, followed by marketing software group Performance Horizon, whose growing presence in the UK led it to 16th place. At 30th is Skimlinks, the publisher monetisation service, while email software and automation provider dotmailer made 32nd.

As an idea of how fast these companies are growing, Performance Horizon claims to have managed revenue growth of 1131% over the last four years.

Riding the wave of disruption

Headed up by Secret Escapes with growth of 7818%, a small selection of affiliate publishers made Deloitte’s list for this year.

They included global travel search site Skyscanner at 38th, which managed revenue growth of 392% in the four years to 2015. Following closely behind in 39th is online takeaway service JUST EAT plc, whose 364% increase in revenue was enough to earn it a position in the top 50.

As for Performance Horizon, the company has attributed its position to a “massive disruption in performance-based marketing” which has led to a demand for direct partnerships within the industry.

The company has played its fair part in this transition by providing advertisers with software to facilitate one-to-one partnerships with thousands of online publishers.

“Being recognised as one of the UK’s fastest growing technology companies is a great honour and testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Performance Horizon team,” commented Chris Blaxall, CFO of Performance Horizon.

Heading the Deloitte Fast 50 is WorldRemit, the online money transfer service whose growth of  20385% puts it way ahead of runner-up Skyscape Cloud Services on 13391%.
