Leading European programmatic video software provider announced as first advertising technology company to win Born Global category, Start-Up of the Year, at France’s EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards. StickyADS.tv – the leading European programmatic video private exchange software provider – has been awarded the prestigious Born Global prize in the Start-up of the Year category at the EY (Ernst & Young) Entrepreneur of the Year awards in Paris, in recognition of the company’s strong international growth potential. With the EY awards in their tenth year, 2015 is the first time a company in the ad tech and media industry has been granted an accolade. Founded by Hervé Brunet and Gilles Chetelat in Paris in 2009, StickyADS.tv has experienced rapid growth since its inception – the company now has seven offices across Europe and the US, employs 90 staff, and boasts three-digit year-on-year growth. The recipe of StickyADS.tv’s success has been a growing market – with global online video ad spend projected to reach $23.7 billion by 2017 – and a unique value proposition that supports premium publishers in the adoption of programmatic video, while enabling them to maintain full control and transparency of their monetisation strategy. StickyADS.tv’s programmatic video private exchange software is deployed across more than 80 private exchanges by more than 5000 websites, and monetises inventory in over 150 countries. Hervé Brunet, StickyADS.tv’s co-founder, commented: “We are very proud to be awarded such a prestigious accolade by EY, and to represent the French ad tech industry globally. Today, 40% of our revenue is raised internationally, and we have recently just opened an office in New York – this award supports our strategic choices.” Gilles Chetelat, StickyADS.tv’s co-founder, added: “Winning the EY Born Global award is a collective success, and we would like to thank our VCs, clients and partners for their trust and support. It is also a credit to our team, who have worked tirelessly to develop StickyADS.tv into a thriving international business. We are working on plans to continue our rapid international expansion, and excited to see what the future holds.”
