PerformanceIN is elated to announce the winners of this year’s bursary scheme for Performance Marketing Insights: Europe.

The bursary gives a select handful of up-and-coming industry prospects free access to Europe’s largest performance advertising conference, allowing them to build their knowledge and skillsets through expert-led speaker sessions and networking opportunities.

Over 100 applicants made this year’s scheme the most popular to date, and a panel of industry experts were hard-pressed in selecting just 20 winners to join a senior delegation at the Hotel Estrel in Berlin from June 23-24.

“Perfect opportunity”

Marketers from a host of advertisers, agencies, publishers, tech providers and networks make up the list of successful applicants, with individuals from MINI, Bank of America, Etsy, iProspect and Travelstart featuring among the winners.

Sara Sievers, assistant online marketing manager at footwear brand Deckers for the EMEA region, is just one of the many from 2015 that are set to benefit from a stellar agenda.

“Deckers is always looking to improve the customer experience and find ways to innovate on an international level and, for this, the Performance Marketing Insights conference seems to be the perfect opportunity,” she commented.

CAKE’s Ryan Walker, senior business development associate and PMI: Europe bursary winner, is also excited about the chance to learn from an agenda tackling subjects including consumer behaviour, personalisation, content marketing and basket abandonment.

“PMI will be a great opportunity for me to attend talks by thought leaders in the performance marketing industry. I’m also looking to expand my knowledge of digital marketing, and to generate new business opportunities.”

‘Strengthen relationships’

Similar sentiments are shared by Antje Roßteuscher – bursary winner and EU digital marketing specialist at Etsy Germany GmbH.

“I look forward to getting to know other advertisers and sharing experiences on how to strengthen relationships with publishers, which includes new ones as well as existing ones. Generally, the event will help me get inspired for upcoming projects.”

Performance Marketing Insights: Europe returns to Berlin on June 23, where bursary winners will enjoy over 40 sessions providing insights into the mechanics of performance marketing campaigns, led by representatives from the likes of Media Markt, Yahoo!, Salesforce and eBay.

If you missed this year’s bursary application, or weren’t one of the lucky few to be selected, tickets are still available to purchase from the Performance Marketing Insights website, here.
