I am responsible for codigosdesconto.com.br so I need to ensure it is operating daily, growing and bringing a better experience to users – which includes planning marketing and PR actions, keeping in touch with our partners and searching for new ones, among other activities.

Take us through what you get up to on a typical working Monday:

First thing in the morning is a full mailbox to go through. Then I read about what is going on in Brazil in the field of e-commerce, technology and business. I also attend a brief meeting to discuss our goals and things we have to do in the next few days.

What are your top three tips for someone looking to get their hands on a job like yours?

You have to know your market very well which includes understanding how the people think and behave – it is important to know how to talk to them. And I don’t mean the language, which is obvious, but the way of thinking. Sometimes it is surprising how people deal with things in different countries. Experience in various fields is a great asset as well. The last one actually applies to any job – be creative, organised, respectful and don’t stop learning new things.

Career-wise, where do you see yourself in three years time?

Three years is a long time! Changes happen fast – one day you live in Brazil, and the next day in Poland (smile. I like challenging myself and I don’t stop learning, so the only thing I can say is that I see myself progressing and taking chances.

Tell us one thing people at work don’t know about you?

That is a very good question. I guess people don’t know that I also work with graphic design. I love spending hours at home on my computer working on logos for example, it is always good to make extra money with your hobby.
