Early January proved fruitful for French online retailers and their post-Christmas discounts, according to new figures released by Kwanko, a multi-channel advertising company.
Year-on-year, the first week of the January Winter sales saw a 20% increase in turnover. E-merchants benefited greatly as sales rose by 104% during the first seven days of these sales.
Cashback contributed the most to publisher earnings, beating display and email marketing with a 28% improvement when comparing the first week of the Winter sales of 2014 with that of 2013.
