Coupon publisher, DiscountVouchers.co.uk, was one of the first performance marketing companies to send news through to us of a staffing change in November. It appointed Kathryn Wright as director of online strategy to boost engagement with its six million subscribers.

Wright joined DiscountVouchers from question and answer website, Blurtit.com, where she was employed as business manager and dealt with the content quality of the website to ensure maximum usability.

Greystripe, a subsidiary of ValueClick, has taken on ex-comScore mobile sales director, Gregor Smith. His new position as head of mobile will see him manage the business development for mobile opportunities.

InMobi brings in new VP

Ian Dowds has become the new vice president and general manager, brand, for UK, France and German-speaking countries (UK, FR & D-A-CH) at InMobi and is responsible for supporting regional growth.

Tech industry veteran, Peter Leahy, is the new chairman for machine learning SEO platform, MathSight. Leahy will be providing financial backing for the commercialisation of the platform, which has been in beta since March 2013.

After a two-year stint, ClickThrough Marketing’s old director of paid search, Amy Bott, switched from agency to advertiser. Bott, who cut her teeth at The Search Works and then Tradedoubler after its acquisition, is now paid search manager at Phones 4u.

Sandra O’Connor, whose career took a twist from accounts and IT to performance marketing in 2010, has been promoted at ASOS. She has hopped from global digital marketing manager to global partnerships manager.

Shop Direct's Wheeler dealer

Long-term Shop Direct employee, Mike Wheeler, is the new head of trading for Very and Isme. He has spent seven years at the firm, working his way up from e-commerce marketing executive at Littlewoods in 2004, to his more recent position as head of paid media for the Shop Direct Group.

Communications outfit, TMW agency, has promoted its head of community, Vikki Morgan, to head of social. Morgan and her team look after clients such as Unilever, General Mills and Infiniti.

In November, Place des Leads’ head of sales, Katie Dingley Chaikam, took on a second role as head of business development, web and mobile, at Clickwork7. She is heading up sales at the Maidstone-based company.
