One of the biggest employment separations we heard about this month came when Duncan Jennings departed as managing director of VoucherCodes.co.uk, the company he founded, after five years. He continues to be an investor in Skimlinks, Server Density, Skift and gyft.

Socialbakers has named Neil Morgan as the company’s new chief marketing officer. He has made the journey from Adobe Systems where he led marketing in Europe for the Adobe Marketing Cloud.

There was another social media-related change last month too, involving Nectar, where Maureen McDonagh, the loyalty programme’s digital commerce director, left to join Facebook as client partner for the social network’s retail division.

Programmatic display firm, Sociomantic, announced that it has opened an office in Milan, Italy, headed up Greta Barsanti, whose CV boasts stints at Netbooster Italy and Tradedoubler.

Admeta Reshuffle

Alexander Edström has taken over the reins of Admeta from previous incumbent Ola Tiverman, who is now chief technology officer. Edström has made the step up to CEO from the chief revenue officer position, which he held for a year.

Videology has been preparing for the video display advertising boom with several appointments. Rhys McLachlan is now head of global TV strategies, Jana Eisenstein is senior vice president for global accounts and Anne de Kerckhove steps up to managing director of EMEA.

Two additional staff members have been drafted into Brainient, an interactive video ads company. Jonathan Lewis, formerly with Adgent Digital and AOL, arrives as commercial director and Amy China brings her experience from SportsNewmedia and Smartclip to the director of partnerships position.

Richard Lane has switched form agency for network. He leaves Mindshare where he worked his way up from affiliate account manager to affiliate business director across three years. Now, he is head of publisher development at Commission Junction.

Eager to Please

MoreNiche has a new head of client services in Kirstie Eager. Before joining the network she was Generate UK’s head of customer support and held several positions at online marketing company, Web on High, before it was acquired by Generate.

More network role-change news came from Affiliate Window, which has promoted Jacky Cox to business development manager from team leader – account development. Meanwhile, Jenny Hoang headed out the Leman Street door to work advertiser side as a digital marketing assistant at New Look.

After two years in the affiliate manager position at Biglight, John Sadeghipoor has been promoted to head of affiliate marketing. He has also worked as e-commerce account manager and e-commerce account executive at the agency.

Chris Howard has swapped Play.com for Shop Direct, where as head of digital he is responsible for profitably driving customers to the group’s website using display, paid search, affiliates, social ads and shopping comparison.

Having been at content agency, Blueglass, for just six months, Jim Banks has decided to take on similar responsibilities at Cheapflights. As global head of biddable media he is in charge of marketing on PPC, affiliate, display and retargeting.
