Affiliate marketing coupon data-feed provider, For Me To Coupon (FMTC), has boosted its offering by launching a new level of automation for users.

US company FMTC, which acts as a data provider for many of the industry’s cashback, coupon and deal websites; such as Shopzilla, iGive, Shopping-Bargains, Save1, and ShopGala, has today unveiled the ‘Merchant Sync’ feature. The tool automatically detects the user’s relationships with individual merchants across the major affiliate networks.

Prior to the release of this feature, FMTC users were required to indicate their relationships by placing a checkmark next to their affiliations on a growing list of merchants. New relationships and lost relationships that had to be manually indicated, are now automatically tracked and updated.

Among the updates to the API, users will also spot that the website has had a complete design overall (no frog logos here). Users can also now enter their Skimlinks’ IDs into the new system; allowing FMTC to automatically add offers to their feeds.

The 2007-founded business, which provides data for more than 6,000 merchants and adds at least 100 new merchants every month, is headed up by the recently appointed chief executive officer, Rachel Honoway.

Honoway said: “Although the core FMTC service already saved users thousands of hours each month, this new feature significantly improves the experience for users, saving them even more time in setting up and maintaining their data-feeds.”

Current users now have access to Merchant Sync and new users are invited to test drive the features by signing up for a free 30-day trial.
