Performance Marketing Awards 2013 - Winners Revealed

More than 800 finely dressed professionals gathered in London last night as the winners of the prestigious Performance Marketing Awards were unveiled for 2013.

A wide range of attendees filled The Grosvenor House Hotel, in Park Lane, for the seventh annual awards ceremony; which was organised by, in association with Commission Junction.

The event, hosted by British stand-up comedian Josh Widdicombe, featured DJ Jukebox on the wheels of steel, up-and-coming Brighton band; The Weekend, a Champagne bar, digital graffiti wall, and of course, guests enjoyed a tantalising three-course meal.

Following a speech by founder, Matthew Wood, attention swiftly turned to the eagerly anticipated results of the awards.

Celebration and Innovation

From the Hotshot Rising Star award to Best Agency, Global Excellence and Best Use of Mobile, competition was stiff for all 31 categories, and judges stated how impressed they were with the volume of entries that showcased success in integrating offline, online and agile consumer strategies to capture an increasingly savvy market.

From big data, budding social strategies, savvy publishers and innovative campaigns, to flourishing networks and agencies, new technology and exceptional employees – there is no doubt that the shortlisted and winning candidates have all contributed to help shape this thriving and evolving industry.

Content director of, Chris Johnson, said: “Last night was yet again a testament to the outstanding quality of personnel, ideas and potential within today’s performance marketing industry.

“As the industry continues to grow and encompass more and more market share, this has been firmly reflected across the high level of quality and the nature of the entries we’ve received. This year was less about ‘look at the data platforms we’ve created’, and far more about utilising, analysing, personalising and driving significant revenue across increasingly commonplace multi-channel campaigns.”

This year’s Performance Marketing Awards included five new awards, attracted the highest amount of attendees and entries ever, raising hundreds of pounds for Kiva; a non- profit organisation that aims to alleviate poverty by lending to individuals.

The event, which attracted a wide range of well-known and successful sponsors, is held each year and reflects and celebrates excellence and innovation throughout the prosperous and rapidly developing performance marketing industry.
