Invest in Others at the Performance Marketing Awards

During the Performance Marketing Awards, you’ll have the chance to invest in the future of impoverished would-be entrepreneurs. The event’s organisers, PerformanceIN.com, have teamed up with Kiva, a very unique charity.

Kiva is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to alleviate poverty through the process of lending to individuals. This completely digital charity allows lenders to give as little as $25 to provide people and their venture with a chance to thrive.

Even those in remote areas of the globe can use Kiva to create opportunity. The charity provides safe, affordable access to capital, which helps people in need create better lives for themselves and their families.

Performance Marketing and Kiva

The performance marketing industry and the people who benefit from Kiva’s work are not too dissimilar. In fact, they both share a very importance trait, according to PerformanceIN.com managing director, Sarah Parsonage.

“The primary role of this year’s charity of choice for the Performance Marketing Awards is to reward those with an entrepreneurial vision,” said Parsonage. “It’s this same vision that exists throughout the performance marketing industry that we’re honouring next week’s event.”

You might decide to help Kamran purchase calves to expand his business or give George some additional funds to finish building a shop that will sell headstones. There are many people in need on Kiva, all waiting to accept monetary aid.

Microfinance institutions on five continents work with Kiva on offering loans to people who wouldn’t normally have access to traditional banking systems. The entire loan, all 100% of it, is sent to these microfinance institutions who then administer the loans to individuals.

Kiva is Non-profit

The majority of Kiva’s funding comes from lenders making optional donations. It also raises funds through grants, corporate sponsors and foundations. The charity doesn’t take one dollar from the actual loans.

If this has piqued your interest, you should register at Kiva and then join the PerformanceIN.com team. To make things easier, there are also a number of third-party apps available on iOS and Android.

PerformanceIN.com’s Kiva lender page is open immediately, so you don’t have to wait until the night of the Performance Marketing Awards to check out the site and start lending. The page will also be open for a period after the ceremony.
