Affiliate Companies Unite in Quest for Asian Dominance

A major Japanese affiliate marketing company has bought a stake in a leading Indian internet marketing company – in its quest to be the number one affiliate marketing player in Asia.

Adways, which is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, has acquired a 13.8% of VC Internet Media, which operates affiliate advertising network vCommission – ‘India’s ‘first international click-per-action network’.

The company also has the option of gradually increasing its stake to 66% in three phases, by the end of the financial year.

Global Presence

Adways, which has offices in China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and the US, is the ‘number one affiliate marketing company’ on PC and mobile, including smartphone, in Japan and China.

Adways executive vice president, Junko Yoshino, said: “This partnership is an ideal step forwards towards our grand plan in becoming the number one affiliate marketing player in Asia.

“To become the number one player in Asia, India is a vital market and we believe we were able to form an alliance with a fitting partner. VC Internet Media also has a great culture to move on things with velocity and we believe this quality has a perfect synergy with Adways.”
