Performance Marketing Awards 2013 Shortlist Announced

Back for its 7th year and aptly on the 7th May, the Grosvenor House Hotel will once again play host to the Performance Marketing Awards where record entry numbers has produced one of the broadest shortlists in the event's history.

A total of five new awards are reflected on this year's shortlist with large agencies, big brands and industry stalwarts who have been rewarded with a listing on our brand engagement, agency-led and incremental award categories.

Targeting the Agile Consumer

Judges were impressed with the volume of entries that showcased success in integrating offline, online and agile consumer strategies to capture an increasingly savvy market.

Alignment of multi-channels, increased data and knowledge sharing, cross platform attention and full use of the marketing mix are just a few of the popular trends that industry stakeholders has invested in over the course of the year.

'Forensic' Approach to Campaigns

Another major trend from this year's entries included the forensic-style approach that was undertaken for many campaigns.

Industry stakeholders were tasked with proving the channel's additional reach and potential through analysis of incremental sales, by reducing costs and increasing return - something that many proved to be even more successful than the industry's average ROI of 11:1.

This approach has encouraged a heap of brands to be recognised including the likes of Zizzi, Pizza Express, BT, Vodafone, O2, Sky, The Body Shop,,, Tesco,, La Redoute, LOVEFiLM,, Argos, The Hut Group, Legal & General, Post Office, American Express, ING, Shop Direct Group, Debenhams, Virgin Holidays, British Gas, Domino's,, Interflora, Whittard of Chelsea, Sony, Ticketmaster, British Airways, Clarks, Liberty London and many more.
