Publisher Activity Triples After Site Revamp

A popular digital media fashion publisher has tripled its activity rates following an upgrade to its platform.

Global entity Fashion Traffic, which represents well-known apparel brands such as Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters, has recently made major enhancements to its browser toolbar and product search.

Following the updates Fashion Traffic CEO Hanan Maayan said analytics showed that publisher activity had tripled in one week.

Integrated Links

The newfangled toolbar now allows publishers to automatically create links for the product page they are viewing on the brand website. This link can also be integrated into the publisher’s website or used across social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr.

The update also allows the publisher to see their revenue balance, performance reports and search the wider database, without having to log into Fashion Traffic.

“Via our analytics we can see our publisher activity has tripled in the last week, which shows they are interacting with the new interface upgrades to really influence their own performance,” Maayan said.

Optimise Global Activity

The new system update also allows the publisher to search and select individual products by their name, colour, category or brand. Publishers are also able to pick up banners for their affiliate and display activity.

Maayan said the updated features will allow publishers and brands to further optimise their global activity across affiliate, display, mobile, search and social activity.

Fashion Traffic is also working to improve its analytics to allow publishers to see what country their visitors are buying from, and what areas of the website users click on to buy - such as the banner, blog post or social channel etc.

New London Hub

In addition to its office in Tel Aviv, Fashion Traffic, which connects more than 11,000 publishers and brands across 60 countries, has also just opened a new office in the centre of London.

“2013 is going to be a game changer for Fashion Traffic and we are thrilled to get the ball rolling with our London office and enhancements to our platform,” Maayan added.

Fashion Traffic says it is more than an affiliate programme as it acts as a fashion network and blogger community.
