Zenith Optimedia sets the new hires ball rolling with the big announcement that the agency is replacing its chief executive. Outgoing head, Gerry Boyle, will become global managing partner and UK chairman.

Tim Hipperson takes on the role after being chief executive of digital and direct agency G2 Joshua. He’ll take the reins in April where Zenith, Optimedia, Performics, Newcast, Ninah and Meridian in the UK will all become his responsibility.

Nicky McShane has vacated Affiliate Traction UK’s MD hotseat after six months and is now European Managing Director at Media Innovation Group. McShane was originally tasked with launching Affiliate Traction in the UK.

LeadPoint loses seniors

There are changes at the top of leads exchange marketplace, LeadPoint. The company’s Founder and MD, Nick Chapman, has left after being with the company he helped create for seven years.

Leadpoint’s UK director of marketing and partnerships, Justin Rees, managed Chapman’s responsibilities briefly, but has since departed too. The company informed A4u that it’s now hiring for both positions.

Tradetracker didn’t waste any time in filling the void left by Nick Stebbings’ move to Affilinet in opting for an internal promotion. Ex-head of Sales, Andrew Harris, has been given the chance to shine as TradeTracker’s Acting Managing Director.

Optimus freshens its ranks

Optimus Performance Marketing has experienced a busy January in its human resources department. The agency has invested in youth by bringing in three new graduates from Plymouth University that were on placement with OPM.

Stephen Putt joins as Senior Account Manager and will be responsible for a number of Optimus’ campaigns. Runa Reno will assist the German office as Head of European Development and Head of Technical Development, David Sigley, will work on new technology.

R.O.Eye developing Smithfield team

R.O.Eye has nabbed Affilinet’s Sales Manager, Donna McNelis. As Head of Sales she has been tasked with building a team of development professionals at the company’s new premises in the Smithfield area of London.

Louise Tyler is Performance Horizon Group’s latest hire. She’s the company’s new Client Delivery Executive and is based in its London office. Tyler has technology experience after using ex-employer, Digital Animal’s, tracking software to build social sharing campaigns.

Affiliate Window has shipped one of its Account Managers to tag management firm, TagMan. David Gander is retaining the same title, but will now be working with clients such as Boohoo, Vodafone and TUI.
