Zanox’ new CEO, Thomas Joosten, will take the reins of the performance advertising network on the 1st of February. Joosten succeeds Philipp Justus, who headed the company for three years and leaves the company on the February 28th.
The dates mean that there will be a month’s crossover for the two CEOs. Justus will remain with Zanox until the end of February to enable a smooth transition. It’s unclear what his responsibilities and title will be during this period.
Ralph Büchi, chairman of the zanox Supervisory Board was one of the first to welcome the new CEO. “Thomas Joosten is an inspirational leader and innovator in the performance marketing sphere,” he said “We are very pleased to be able to appoint this successful entrepreneur as the new CEO.
A founding experience
Joosten joins Zanox from Dutch affiliate marketing network, M4N, where he was founder and CEO. Zanox acquired and merged the network with its own operations in 2011. Joosten then became country manager for the combined entities with Belgium and the Netherlands coming under his domain.
Prior to founding the M4N affiliate network with his brother, Joosten has experience as an ICT strategy consultant. He has worked for a number of firms, which includes some big blue chip names such as Intel and AT&T;.
Joosten provided a sneak peek into his intentions once he becomes Zanox CEO. “My fellow board members and I are greatly looking forward to expanding our platform and services to further devices and sales channels in order to help our customers to better reach their consumers,” he said.
