Award Categories Announced for the 2013 Performance Marketing Awards

Following the success of record-breaking industry guests during the 2012 Performance Marketing Awards Ceremony, we look ahead to the 2013 entry submission process, opening next week.

Five New Award Categories for 2013

Reflected in our category list for 2013 are five new awards, aimed at shaking up our award listings with an ‘out with the old, in with the new’ ethos. The awards that have been replaced will still hold relevancy across a number of 2013’s category list, which is testament to how Performance Marketing and its intricacies are consistently evolving.

New Awards for 2013

  • Best Brand Engagement Campaign
  • Best Agency-led Performance Marketing Campaign
  • Most Incremental Performance Marketing Campaign
  • Grand Prix Award
  • Best Account Manager at an Agency or Network

We will be announcing more information regarding new awards alongside the opening of our entry submission period next week.

Additional Acknowledgement for Media Agencies

To complement the growing number of media agencies with departments now dedicated to Performance Marketing, there have been additional awards added to this year's list that have been placed alongside existing agency-related awards, notably the ‘Best Agency’ and ‘Best Agency-Led Performance Marketing Campaign’ categories.

There is also a shift in two awards with the re-introduction of the ‘Best Account Manager’ award now including Agency account managers as well as those at a Network, plus the alignment of performance-based marketing as one entity in the ‘Best use of Performance Marketing as part of a Wider Marketing Campaign’ award has also been re-worked.

Industry Achievement Awards

Alongside the ‘Best Publisher Support’, ‘Best Advertiser Support’ and ‘Publisher’s Choice of Network, 2013 will see the return of the (slightly tweaked) ‘Best Account Manager at an Agency or Network’ award. There are new voting strategies associated with these community-based awards – all will be revealed shortly.
