Secret Escapes offers members up to 70% off luxury breaks in the UK and abroad. The brand launched its first Affiliate network lead generation campaign with Affiliate Window in September 2011.

The campaign was set up to facilitate significant growth of new members registering to receive the newsletter. With some direct partnerships already in place, the affiliate activity was designed to complement this and work as a standalone lead source.

Traffic is directed to a ‘join now’ facility that only allows unique email addresses to bypass. By asking solely for an email address, the sign-up process is fast and enables costs to be kept to a minimum.

Registration confirmations track whether the user’s details are submitted directly to site or via Facebook to avoid commission leakage.

The landing pages used are interchangeable, allowing the team to test different promotional incentives and to co-brand for specific lead sources if required.
