GlobalWide completes $40 million Neverblue deal

GlobalWide Media has announced the completed purchase of Neverblue Media Company and affiliate network, AKMG, for $40 million in cash. Neverblue will continue operating under its own name, whereas AKMG and its entire team is to adopt the GlobalWide Media branding.

The finalising of the deal follows an initial announcement last month about GlobalWide Media’s intentions to buy Neverblue. GlobalWide now believes it operates one of the largest privately held performance-based digital marketing companies in the industry.

A new industry leader?

Chief Executive Officer of GlobalWide, Farshad Fardad, was one of the first to welcome his new hires into the fold. He is of the opinion that his company with be the first name on the lips of publishers and advertisers looking to invest in mobile advertising.

"We are delighted to formally welcome the Neverblue team, as their footprint into international markets together with their expertise and scale in mobile advertising complements our strengths in becoming the premier 'One-stop' solution for advertisers and publishers," he said.

Fardad’s colleague, Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Eric Gerritsen, concurred. He feels the addition of the two Canadian companies has meant GlobalWide will soon rank near the top of the digital marketing sector.
