a4uexpo Europe by the tweets

a4uexpo’s tenth event has fuelled more tweets than any other A4u event previously. At one stage the #a4uexpo hashtag was even trending, proving performance marketing to be a hot topic in the twitter-sphere over the last few days.

The Barcelona event wasn’t just a success on social media, though. A record number of performance marketers came through the doors of the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya. Over 820 attendees could be seen meeting with company representatives on the exhibition floor or absorbing information in one of the three conference rooms.

More exhibitors than ever before were showcasing their services in the main hall of this pan-European event. While in several sessions a show of hands for the number publishers, advertisers, agencies and network staff revealed a fairly even split.

Unsurprising, then, that the Vouchercloud-sponsored PHG TweetWall recorded over a thousand tweets. We’ve decided to have a look at some of the more interesting tweets, which were posted over the course of the two days. Here are our top five in no particular order:
