We’ve been operating within the affiliate space for over 8 years and have seen the programme grow in line with the growth of the Halfords website.
What sets Halfords apart within the Performance Marketing arena?
Historically we have always developed the programme to give the best benefits we possibly can to our publishers, including paying out the same commission on Reserve and Collect sales as per the normal home delivery orders, as well as getting mobile tracking set up as quickly as possible.
Furthermore the vast range of products that we stock is fairly unique for a multi-channel retailer within the affiliate market, really giving publishers something to shout about throughout their promotions, driving people to the site or instore.
What products will be supported by affiliates for Halfords in 2012?
Our current TV ad is heavily focused on pushing our summer lifestyle products – resulting in bikes, bike accessories and tents being key in 2012, specifically in line for summer.

How are you planning on growing the current Halfords programme?
Having re-launched the programme back in 2010, we’ve seen consistent continuous growth with our key affiliates, however we still feel that there is plenty more that can be done to continue this development and see the programme progress into 2013. One of the main tasks that will be undertaken will be to concentrate much more on our Mobile offering and amending our promotions according to the device that our publishers / customers are on. This will enable us to become one of the true market leaders of multi-channel marketing within the performance marketing space.
What sorts of promotions can you support?
Any promotion big or small can be supported through our affiliate programme. We offer regular voucher codes across the majority of our categories and we are very open to running CPA increases for the right level of exposure – so just get in touch! As we have dedicated management for our programme we can look to turn around promotions very quickly, so always worth keeping us in mind if another merchant drops out of a promotion.
