Can you give us a brief overview about Usay Compare?

Usay Compare is the leading Individual Private Medical Insurance (PMI) intermediary in the UK. Using our bespoke and patented technology we have the ability to compare nearly 2,000 policies on behalf of our customers, ensuring they get the best policy at the best possible price every time. Our customer facing brand and the main website for lead collection is This will also be the main website for the Usay affiliate programme.

With a team of highly-trained advisers, and a huge range of Healthcare plans available at their fingertips, Usay can help any UK individual, family, couple, or child, find the best medical insurance plan to suit not only their requirements, but budget as well.

Usay offers a full comparison service, allowing our customers to compare health insurance policies from all of the major private medical insurance companies, such as Aviva (formerly Norwich Union), AXA PPP, Bupa, CS Healthcare, Exeter Friendly, Standard Life, and many more. We specialise in individual and family health insurance.

Please tell us more about your new Affiliate Programme.

Having spent the last couple of years developing our online channels we have recently made the exciting decision to add affiliate marketing to the mix. While the move for Usay is relatively new with the Usay affiliate programme launching January 2012 and the OMG partnership February 2012, we have an experienced Affiliate Marketing Exec at the helm driving the programme forward.

We believe affiliate marketing is about developing relationships and pushing the boundaries to deliver a greater experience for your visitors and ultimately our customers. Through launching an affiliate programme and developing strategic relationships we are hoping to increase the reach and market share of

We appreciate affiliates work in different ways and a one size fits all approach is no longer possible. Therefore, we made the decision to launch two different programmes, one rewarding sales, the other with a hybrid lead and sales bonus model. We felt it was important for us to award for quality as well as quantity, which was a key factor in us launching the hybrid model. By launching a dual network programme it not only allows us to open doors to working with a wider range of affiliates, but also allows affiliates the choice of either working direct or through a network, whist having the ability to select their preferred commission model.

What commission rates are available for your Affiliate Programme?

Availability: Direct and through OMG network

Lead Commission

  • Less than 25 leads per month = £15.00 per lead,
  • Between 25 & 50 leads per month = £17.50 per lead,
  • More than leads 50 per month = £20.00 per lead.

Sales Commission – sales bonus of £40 for each confirmed policy

Affiliate Exclusion: Unfortunately this programme is not open to incentive sites.

Sales Programme

Availability: OMG Network only.


Lead Commission – no lead commission.

Sales Commission – £75 per confirmed policy.

Affiliate Exclusion: open to all affiliates who wish to work on this model.

We currently work with most types of affiliates. However, at the moment we do not have voucher code capability; but don’t worry we are on the case and hope to have a solution in place by the end of Q1, 2012.

You mentioned about a launch incentive – what’s on offer for Affiliates?

As a launch incentive we have increased the sales commission on both the Lead and Sales programme to £100 per confirmed policy. This commission will be applied to any confirmed sales which arise from a lead submitted between 12.00 noon on 14th February 2012 and 11.59pm on 13th March 2012.

What can promotional assets can affiliates use to promote your programme?

We are really excited about the launch of this programme and the tools available to affiliates for promoting the Health Insurance Compare brand. Through both programmes we have a range of pre-approved copy and banner ads for affiliates to choose from. However, we believe the gem in our tool kit and our USP, which sets us apart from our competitors, is our bespoke data capture form. This data capture form provides every affiliate the ability to host the form and collect private medical insurance leads on their own sites. It is quick and easy to implement, all you need to do is simply add a bespoke piece of iframe script to your website and you will be ready to go. We think the onsite data capture form will be a real asset to affiliates by providing higher conversion rates, and reducing leakage by allowing the customer to remain on an affiliate’s website.
