How did you enjoy the evening, were there any particular highlights (besides picking up your award)?
Highlight was going up on stage with our Net Media Planet team and client. Looking out to an audience applauding and feeling really proud of what we had worked hard to achieve.
For an industry first in terms of award wins, you successfully utilised YouTube's Video targeting tool as part of your campaign - how did the idea come about and how was it successfully implemented?
It was a combination of understanding our merchant client, their customers and spotting a new development in search. From this, we realised that with our technology and methodology, we could find a new way to connect with new customers and drive more sales.
How do you ensure there is added value by running ads across a video platform?
From a performance perspective, this is through having a really focused campaign. So for example, targeting ads on videos that are hyper-relevant to the audience of that video. Doing this on scale using our technology and methodology was key.
How important is split testing for Paid Search ads?
It’s invaluable. That’s how you improve on the good and you weed out the bad.
What's next for Net Media Planet?
In search, we are extending our global reach for merchants to drive new sales. We have also developed a winning approach for maximising performance from mobile.
