Now in its sixth year the a4u Awards have repositioned as the Performance Marketing Awards and are set to showcase growth and evolution. By encompassing the Performance aspect of the Industry we are acknowledging that through collaboration we successfully drive Billions in sales for brands on a performance basis across not just Affiliate Marketing but within Search, Display, Email, Social Media and Mobile.

Embracing tightly the ethos behind traditional Affiliate Marketing principles, the awards in 2012 will persist to reward and recognise innovation and excellence within the wider Performance Marketing channel. As a Network, Publisher, Agency or Merchant at the heart of this activity driving change and innovation, this is your chance to really demonstrate what you or your clients have achieved over the past year.

Award Categories 2012

New categories for 2012 include Best use of Data, Best use of Email and Best Search Campaign alongside stalwarts Publisher Innovation, The Vertical Awards, Best Agency and the Publisher’s Choice of Network.

These Awards cover a wide spectrum of topics across the Performance Marketing Industry, which are both judged - using a panel of experienced Performance Marketing specialists; and voted for by the community. Access to the complete list of award categories is available on the Performance Marketing Awards website.

Guidance for Award submissions

Hotshot Rising Star Award and Best Agency Award

We know how time consuming it can be to try and figure out what is relevant and what is necessary for an award submission. As such we have provided a template for two of this year’s Award categories:

Hotshot Rising Star Award

Best Agency Award

Both templates comprise of a list of questions to be answered alongside a word count guidance for each question. This ensures transparency in the judging process and ensures that each contender (company or individual) is fairly pitched against each other.

For all the remaining awards we have a 'Judging Process' section on the website that will help first-timers out there to craft their entries.

It is also important to read the Rules and Guidance in order to ensure you understand the submission format and other details.

What are the judges looking for?

The judges will be looking for clear objectives; innovation and uniqueness; feasibility; smart execution and success and ROI.

This is a unique avenue to shout about your achievements and get heard by the people that really count. So don’t be shy with your entries, send us testimonials, case studies, proven track records… But remember to keep it concise and make sure it is relevant!
