Digital agency Orange Bus will manage the affiliate scheme for Sarah Beeny’s online dating site www.mysinglefriend.com just weeks after launching its new digital marketing division.
The firm - originally named after co-director Julian Leighton’s VW camper van – launched Orange Bus Digital Marketing in May having appointed one of the industry’s leading online conversion experts, Tom Fotheringham, as director.
During his time at travel giant DFDS Seaways, Mr Fotheringham dramatically increased online sales leading to significantly higher margins and a vast reduction in the need for traditional, costly marketing channels.
Using its strong relationships with top affiliates he believes Orange Bus has an exciting opportunity to take brand awareness and affiliate marketing to new levels.
“Mysinglefriend currently works with an affiliate network and we’ve identified specific routes to grow its revenue by utilising our excellent relationships and experience with key affiliates,” he said. “We’re focussing heavily on service levels and we’re using leading tracking technology to monitor activity in real time, which means we are in total control of our campaigns moment to moment.”
Sarah Johnson, who is head of affiliates at Orange Bus, brings vast experience across key verticals including retail and finance. Sarah directly oversaw key clients including M&S;, Carphone Warehouse and global finance insurer Aviva at her previous role as account director at Digital Window, the UK’s leading Affiliate Marketing Network.
Orange Bus clients include Sage, Tommee Tippee and international publishing company, Pearson. www.orangebus.co.uk
